The Transportation Security Administration established a self-select lane program, officials said.
The self select program is a series of lanes at the security checkpoint. The lanes direct passengers based on their travel needs and knowledge – “expert” for the business traveler and “family/special assistance” for families, elderly passengers and travelers who may have special needs.
Some of the passengers KGW spoke with Monday morning said the self select lanes helped avoid confusion before they got to the front of the line.
