The trustees of Penn State University fired football coach Joe Paterno after 46 seasons. A former defensive coordinator is charged with sexually abusing numerous children, and two Penn State administrators are charged with failing to report the abuse to authorities.
Court documents say Paterno was told about one victim, which he reported to his boss, but not police.
Paterno tried to retire on Wednesday, but trustees fired him that night, along with the university president.
Was the firing right? Or an overraction by the University?
