A new study suggests that cell phones and other electronic devices on airplanes can impact cockpit devices.
According to Oregon State Police, the original alert went out after two children were taken by their mother in Montana. She was later arrested on April 12 after the girls were found safe.
The vehicle listed in that Amber Alert was a brown 2002 Jeep Liberty displaying Montana plate 43-6519.
Investigators said anyone receiving a similar cell phone text message should not forward the message.
