MEDFORD, Ore. -- The National Weather Service says atmospheric conditions will likely cause pollution to accumulate in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon.

An air-stagnation advisory will be in effect until 4 a.m. Thursday.

The Medford Mail Tribune reportsthat high pressure high pressure is building over the region, trapping air in the valley.

That means airborne particles from wood smoke, vehicle exhaust and other pollution sources will accumulate.
