Seattle Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill was arrested Tuesday at his Issaquah home after police say he assaulted his girlfriend several times and kept her in his residence against her will. It's the second time in less than three years Hill has been arrested for domestic violence.

Issaquah Police said they responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of an assault at Hill s home that had been ongoing throughout the day. According to police, a 26-year-old woman living at the home identified Hill as her boyfriend and said Hill assaulted her several times during the day. He also allegedly blocked the doorway when she tried to leave the residence and took her cell phone. The woman told police she was able to escape when Hill used the bathroom.

The woman was taken to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah where she was treated and released.

Hill was arrested and taken to Issaquah City Jail. He will be booked into King County Jail on domestic violence charges of unlawful imprisonment and third degree assault.

Hill was arrested on misdemeanor charges in April 2010 for a similar domestic violence dispute complaint, which occurred between Hill and his girlfriend at the time. It wasn t immediately clear if his girlfriend in Tuesday s incident was the same woman.

Two weeks before his 2010 arrest, he received 12 months of probation in Georgia after pleading guilty to a charge of marijuana possession stemming from a January 2009 traffic stop in suburban Atlanta.

Hill will be a free agent this offseason. He had 47 tackles, 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble for the Seahawks in 2012.
