PORTLAND Some flights from the East Coast to PDX were resuming as airports reopened following the devestation of Hurricane Sandy.
On Wednesday, New York's LaGuardia remained closed.
JFKairport was reopened where flights were spotty as jets moved away from the East Coast were rotated back into service. A Wednesday morning Delta flight from Portland to there was cancelled.
Dulles Airport was reopened Wednesday.
It's a ripple effect from all of the earlier delays and cancellations; the planes needed for those canceled flights are stranded back east.
Airlines estimated all the canceled flights are costing $10 million per day.
