TURNER, Ore. -- A 46-year-old Stayton man was jailed on reports that he sexually abused a 16-year-old girl he met while he was her basketball coach, police said.

Dennis Holm was taken into custody Monday by Linn County detectives, according to Undersheriff Bruce Riley.

Detectives learned Holm and the female victim, now 18 years old, met seven years ago when Holm was her volunteer basketball coach at Cascade Youth Basketball Program in Turner, Riley said.
