KELSO, Wash. -- A man in Cowlitz County court on harassment charges ran from the courtroom Monday.

Jeremy David Rosenbaum was facing charges he threatened to torture and kill his pregnant girlfriend, according to the Longview Daily News.

Despite the fact that Rosenbaum was shackled, he jumped on a table and darted off, briefly escaping the courtroom before he was tackled in the lobby.

In addition to the initial charges of harassment, tampering with a witness and bribing a witness, Rosenbaum now faces charges of first-degree escape and third-degree assault.
