HILLSBORO, Ore. A fire ravaged a home s garage Saturday morning in Hillsboro.

Around 9 a.m., Mike Loredo heard popping sounds outside his home at Southeast 66th Place, said Bruce Montgomery with Hillsboro Fire and Rescue.

Firefighters, 25 in all, swarmed to the home and found smoke billowing out of the windows and flames crackling through the roof.

Crews attacked the blaze from the front doors, windows and roof of the building, eventually getting it under control, Montgomery said.

Investigators were processing the scene to determine the cause of the fire and estimate the damages. No one was injured in the fire.
