Results of the study have gone viral on - where else but -- social media sites across the Internet.

The study said that emotionally charged posts were revealed as the biggest problem.

Also, 29-percent of the people in the study said they were afraid of getting fired or getting turned down from a job over something they posted on social media.

The survey covered written and photo posts on several social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Tumblr.

The experts at Findlaw also shared some advice: Think before you post, check your privacy settings, and limit the amount of your personal information that can be viewed online.
