VANCOUVER -- A driver who caused a crash that left several people injured Friday in Vancouver fled the scene and has not been located, police said.

Officers were called just before noon to the report of a crash in the 7200 block of Northeast 147th Avenue, said Sgt. Fred Neiman of the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Several people at the scene were hurt, Neiman said. There was no word on the extent of the injuries.

Witnesses said the crash was the result of a disturbance and that the driver who caused it had left the area.

Neiman said police were continuing to search for the suspect. Investigators were also working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
