OREGON CITY, Ore. A DUII suspect involved in an Oregon City crash early Wednesday morning was rescued after his car went down an embankment, police said.

Justin Carl Dolson, 20, failed to negotiate a 90-degree curve on Leland Road around 1 a.m. and rolled his vehicle about 120 feet down the embankment, according to Sgt. Adam Phillips of the Clackamas County Sheriff s Office.

Jordan Soloman, the passenger in Dolson s car, was able to climb out of the wreckage after it rolled multiple times, then drag the unconscious driver through the sunroof, according to Soloman's mother. Soloman then climbed up the embankment and walked to his grandmother s house about a mile away. His grandmother then called 911.

Crews responded and found Dolson outside the car where his friend left him to go get help. They pulled him up the embankment in a basket, Phillips said.

Both men were taken to Oregon Health & Science University for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Family members said they have no broken bones or major injuries and were released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's office says Dolson was cited at the hospital for driving under the influence.
