PORTLAND --Police arresteda despondent man with a handgun who had parked near the Southeast Portland home of a former girlfriend he was stalking.
Friends of Timothy E. Anderson, 25,called Troutdale police Thursday afternoon after he sent them suicidal text messages and posts on Facebook. Anderson was also thought to be armed, Simpson said.
