PORTLAND -- A 20-hour concrete pour began Friday night in Southwest Portland as part of the Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Bridge Project.

About 1,700 cubic yards of concrete were poured for the base of the bridge's West Tower in the Willamette River, according to TriMet's Mary Fetsch.

Work was completed by 4 p.m. Saturday. About 60 people worked on the Big Pour.
