TIGARD, Ore. -- A woman on the run from police since May, whose 6-year-old daughter tested positive for meth, was arrested Tuesday, police said.
Leslie Von Wald, 44, had been eluding police since she was indicted May 30 on charges of distributing methamphetamine.
Investigators received several tips about Von Wald's whereabouts over the last few weeks, and as a result she was arrested at a home on C Avenue in Lake Oswego Tuesday morning, according to the Tigard Police Department.

On April 18, officers serving a search warrant at Von Wald's home at the Cascade Mobile Villa in Tigard said they found a pound of meth and $4,600 in cash. In another room, they found Von Wald sleeping with her 6-year-old daughter.
Investigators later found out that the child had meth in her system. She and Von Wald's 16-year-old son have been placed in state foster care.
Von Wald has been lodged in the Washington County Jail.
