PORTLAND -- A driver in a rental car who looked nervous and could not answer basic questions was arrested early Friday evening on Interstate 5 northbound at Delta Park.

Charles Taesun Pak,28, of Vancouver, B.C. was accused of manufacturing, distribution and possession of cocaine, said Sgt. Pete Simpson.

Based on the observation of Pak, an officer asked to search his vehicle and he agreed. A drugs sniffing K-9 dog, Nikko, was called to the scene and found packets of cocaine, Simpson said.

The estimated street value of the cocaine in the U.S. is $420,000, Simpson said. In Canada, where police believe Pak was headed, the drugs have a street value of $920,000.
