PORTLAND -- A man fired several shots inside a Southeast Portland bar Monday night, but nobody was hurt, police said.

Police were called at 10:40 p.m. to the report of a shooting inside Papa Son's Bar at 12525 Southeast Powell Boulevard.

Officers arriving in the area were flagged down by a witness who told police that the suspect was last seen running eastbound on Powell Boulevard, Simpson said.

Police did not find the suspect. He was described as African American, wearing a hoodie and some kind of mask.

There were no reports of injuries, but police did find evidence of gunfire inside the bar.
