PORTLAND-- On Tuesday, police asked for the public's help in their search for evidence connecting a man with the robbery of a Dutch Bros. Coffee stand in Portland last Sunday.

A man robbed a Dutch Bros. Coffee at 13640 SE Division St. on Sunday evening.

On Sunday evening, several officers and a K-9 unit searched a neighborhoods around Southeast Division street looking for a suspect.

About 15 minutes after they swept the perimeter, Mathew Paul Stockwell, 23, hailed officers and reported that he had been robbed. Stockwell, however, closely matched the description of the Dutch Brothers robbery suspect. Further investigation led officers to positively identify Stockwell as the robber, according to Simpson.

Stockwell was arrested and booked for robbery, police said.

Investigators believe that the robbery suspect discarded an orange zebra-print jacket, a dark green jacket, a white bandanna, and an some cash following the robbery.

According to police the items may be between Southeast 139th and 145th Avenues. Officers are hoping to find the clothing as they build their case against Stockwell.
