GRESHAM, Ore. -- A Portland woman who may have witnessed the deadly shooting of a Gresham mother last weekend has been found, police said.

Jessie Cavett was home with her two young daughters Saturday when Joshua Cavett grabbed one of them and took off, sparking an Amber Alert.

Gresham police said they believe 23-year-old Keshia Moritz (pictured) witnessed the episode. She finally called police Tuesday, according to Lt. Claudio Grandjean of the Gresham Police Department. Grandjean said they had not yet interviewed her.

Josh Cavett surrendered Saturday night and was jailed. He faces murder and assault charges. The 2-year-old girl was not injured.
