VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A semi-truck crashed in the southbound lanes of the Glenn Jackson Bridge around noon Monday, causing major traffic delays.
The truck jackknifed and came to a rest blocking the bike lanes that run down the center of the bridge. It also knocked over a light pole which fell across the northbound lanes.
The crash, which took place about 500 feet south of the Oregon-Washington border, caused some diesel fuel to spill onto the road. Crews towed the truck and worked to clear the spill.
All lanes were re-opened about three hours later.
