KEIZER, Ore. -- A Keizer road was closed Sunday afternoon while officers investigated the report of a suspicious device, police said.
Just after 3:30 p.m. a caller reported an object in the 5400 block of River Road North with wires coming out of it and a sign that read push to play, said Captain Jeffrey Kuhns of the Keizer Police Department.
Police taped off the area and closed the roadway at about 5:30, while a bomb robot examined the device. The device did not contain explosives or pose any threat, so the roadway was reopened within ten minutes.
Anyone with information was asked to call Keizer police (503) 390-3713.
