PORTLAND - A woman found dead in North Portland's Peninsula Park Monday died of hypothermia.

She was identified as Wendy Loren, 63, of Portland, according to the medical examiner's office.

Her body was found on the east side of the park near a maintenance building. The death was considered suspicious but nothing suggested a violent death, Portland Police Sgt. Pete Simpson said.

Police said she had wandered away from her home on the 4600 block of North Michigan Avenue and was not properly dressed for the cold weather.

No foul play was suspected, according to police.
