WILSONVILLE, Ore. -- An Oregon killer's life sentence has been changed to 50 years in prison, 20 years after the original sentencing.
Todd Davilla, 37, murdered 22-year-old Lisa Flormoe in a Wilsonville home when he was 16 years old. He confessed and was prosecuted as an adult, but an appeals court ruled that proper guidelines were not followed.
A judge ruled Tuesday that the state did not prove its case. Davilla was sentenced to 50 years, with credit for the 20 years he had already served.
