PORTLAND -- Portland police planned to hand out flyers to attendees at Saturday's Timbers game to expand the search for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run last month.

Officers will hand out a flyer to each person entering Jeld-Wen Field Saturday, starting just before 5 p.m., Portland Police Lt. Robert King said Saturday. The Timbers also planned to display the information on their video screens during the game, and on the team's website.

Nancy Schoeffler, 63, of Portland, was hit by a car and killed on W Burnside, near SW Tichner Drive, on March 30.The driver left the scene and has not been located

Evidence at the crime scene showed the vehicle that hit her was a 1996 to 2008 black Honda or Acura sedan with damage to the hood and front windshield.
