CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Just three weeks after being ousted as general manager of the the Portland Trail Blazers, Rich Cho has found a job in Charlotte.
Cho was named the new general manager of the Charlotte Bobcats, according to the team's website. He will begin his post in the fall for the 2011-2012 season and is only the third GM in the Bobcats' history.
On May 23, the Blazers parted ways with Cho after just one season. Team President Larry Miller said that Cho wasn't a good match after the team parted ways with former GMKevin Pritchard.
The Blazers are currently without a general manager.
Prior to Portland, Cho spent nine seasons as assistant general manager of the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder.
