LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Thousands of Nike tennis shoes have been confiscated after police found them in a home in central Kentucky.

An investigation is now under way and it's making national headlines.

It is believed the shoes were supposed to be shipped in 2009 from a Nike distribution center in Tennessee to Texas, but they never made it there.

Now the shoes are being held in the impound lot at the Radcliff Police Department.

The women who had the shoes in her home told police she had purchased them from someone else and didn't know they were stolen.

She had been selling them at flea markets.
