PORTLAND -- A nine-year-old girl reported missing Tuesday evening by a mother staying at the 'Occupy Portland' tent city in Lownsdale Square Park was found by Portland police about 40 minutes later.

The girl was reported missing about 9 p.m., and had not been seen for about two hours, said Sgt. Pete Simpson.

Police were told that the girl was with a woman named 'Rainbow' and both were at the art tent of the activist encampment.

The girl was found about 9:40 p.m. at Southwest 4th and Taylor with the woman named Rainbow. After interviewing both, police determined there was no foul play, Simpson said.

The girl was then reunited with her mother, who has been staying at Lownsdale Square Park.
