PORTLAND -- Two Portland Police Bureau officers have been arrested for DUII, according to spokeswoman Lt. Kelli Sheffer.

Officer Joshua Sparks was arrested and charge by the Washington State Patrol on Nov. 6 at 11:18 p.m.
Sparks was stopped by a WSP officer who clocked him at 72 in a 60 mph zone. Sparks has been with the bureau for three years.

Officer John Shadron was arrested by Gresham police. Shadron was in a wreck with another vehicle near SE Salquist Road and Orient Drive. There were no injuries in that collision. Shadron has been with the bureau for 11 years.

Both officers have been taken off the street and assigned to the bureau's Telephone Reporting Unit until the completion of the DUII investigations and an internal review.
