COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. -- A Cottage Grove man accused of murdering a missing Beaverton woman pleaded not guilty in court Monday.
Tammy Borda, 55, has been missing since December 2nd. Police think her ex-boyfriend, 41-year-old David Byron Bowen, killed her.
Bowen faces several charges, including murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Monday.
Bowen was arrested after police searched his home in the 1400 block of Birch Avenue in Cottage Grove earlier this month.
Borda had gone to visit her family in Lane County for Thanksgiving and hadn't been seen since Dec. 2. She had planned to return to Beaverton on Dec. 4, but never came home, her daughter said.
