BEAVERTON, Ore. -- A two-year-old boy fell out of a 2nd-story window at a home in Beaverton Monday, according to Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue.

The boy fell out of the window at the Sterling Pointe Apartments, at 14045 SW Teal Boulevard, Monday afternoon. A LifeFlight helicopter was requested but the boy had to be transported by ambulance to the hospital due to inclement weather.

He was taken by ambulance to Oregon Health and Science University. It was unknown how far the boy fell or the extent of his injuries.

A neighbor told KGW the boy was motionless on the ground after the fall.
