PORTLAND -- A bicyclist who was critically injured in a collision with a car in Northeast Portland in March has died, police said.

On March 28, police found 24-year-old Ryan Egge suffering from traumatic injuries from a crash at Northeast Killingsworth Street and Cully Boulevard.

Egge was riding at a high rate of speed on Cully Boulevard when he turned onto Killingsworth and struck a car, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson of Portland police.

Egge was not wearing a helmet and suffered a severe injury.

He died on April 28, Simpson said.
