PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police have issued two traffic citations for careless driving to a motorist who struck and killed a pedestrian in southeast Portland on Valentine's Day.
Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau said Wednesday that 38-year-old Jarred Holt must appear before a judge later this month.
Holt was making a left turn onto Division Street during the daytime when his pickup hit an 80-year-old man and his 78-year-old wife.
