PORTLAND -- Although investigators have not found any suspects in a Saturday night shooting in Northeast Portland, the victim was arrested on a federal warrant, police said.
Officers were called just after 11 p.m. to the report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Northeast Rodney Avenue.
Harry Brogdon, 50, told police that three men approached him from behind and one started shooting, hitting him once in the shoulder, said Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson.
Brogdon was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for his gunshot wound. Upon his release, he was taken into police custody on an unrelated federal warrant, Simpson said.
Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call assault detectives at (503) 823-0400.
