GRESHAM, Ore. -- Police have identified the suspect in a deadly Gresham shooting last week and are seeking him and a possible witness.

Makeitho Tito De Monz Herring, 37, was killed around 11 p.m. Sept. 9 in the parking lot of the Pine Square Apartments at 665 NE 178th Ave.

Wednesday police identified the suspect as 28-year-old Brandon Alexander Hickman of Gresham, said Lt. Claudio Grandjean of the Gresham Police Department.

Hickman (pictured, left) was described as 6-foot-1, 185 pounds with short hair. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.

Police said Hickman's girlfriend, 21-year-old Ellysia Aimee Colvin (pictured, right), is a possible witness. She was described as 5-foot-6, 140 pounds with shoulder-length hair, tattoos on her chest and abdomen, and a nose ring. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call (503) 618-2719 and leave an anonymous tip.
