PORTLAND -- A Multnomah County sheriff's spokesman says a body found in the North Portland Harbor Sunday has been identified as a Clark County, Wash., work release escapee.

The body recovered was that of 27-year-old Drake Edward Johnson, said Lt. Mark Matsushima of the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.

The Clark County sheriff's office says Johnson escaped from work release on July 17. His cause of death remains under investigation.
