PORTLAND - Police arrested a Portland singer early Saturday for disorderly conduct outside a Mississippi neighborhood bar.

Portland police said Mary Beth Patterson, also known as BethDitto, was in the street outside the Bungalow Bar.

Officers said at the time of her arrest she was in the middle of the street with her arms extended from her sides like an airplane and shouting. Some drivers were honking to get her out of the street, police said.

She was charged with one count of disorderly conduct.
