HILLSBORO -- The case against a man suspected of throwing a sandwich at a Jack in the Box employee has been dropped.

Suspect throws sandwich at fast-food worker

The Washington County District Attorney's Office dismissed a harassment charge against Lawrence Staley on Friday. They said they made the decision after the victim decided the case didn't need to move forward, and prosecutors added that Staley was not likely to repeat the incident.

Staley was arrested in March 2012 on suspicion of hitting the Forest Grove fast-food employee in the back of the head with a Breakfast Jack sandwich after a dispute over french fries.
