PORTLAND -- It's not cooling off anytime soon, with Sunday's temperatures possibly reaching 90 degrees--a new high for 2012, KGW Meteorologist Jim Donovan said.

Portland will continue to have clear skies throughout the day with winds not going beyond a light breeze.

There may be evening thunderstorms over the Cascades that will end overnight, and Donovan expects things to stay dry through at least July 24.

While it will remain hot, clouds may roll into the Portland area Tuesday with another wave sweeping through on Thursday.

Donovan urges everyone to stay hydrated and to continue expecting nice weather next week.
