WOOD VILLAGE, Ore. The man who robbed Dotty s restaurant in Wood Village with a sawed-off shotgun took a plea deal Thursday.

Gordon Peterson walked into the Wood Village restaurant on Nov. 19 and pointed a loaded, sawed-off shotgun at waitress Laruina Powell, demanding money.

Powell grabbed Peterson s gun from him and screamed for help. He ran away, but Powell and her customers ran after Peterson, tackling him and holding him until police arrived.

Peterson pleaded guilty to robbery during a hearing Thursday morning. He was sentenced to 90 months in jail and three years of post-prison supervision.
