WASHOUGAL, Wash. A driver lost control and slid down an embankment at a home in Washougal Friday morning.

Around 10:30 a.m., the vehicle was heading down a steep hill in the 1800 block of Northeast 6th Street when it lost control on the snow and ice and careened over a 20-foot embankment.

The vehicle narrowly missed a home and landed on its side in the driveway.

The driver got out through the sunroof with the help of the Camas-Washougal Fire Department. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and wasn t injured.
