Competitive pumpkin grower Matt Radach of Camano Island had his camera rolling and created a time-lapse video of his pumpkin as it grew.

The video follows the full lifespan of the giant pumpkin from planting to harvest.

At the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, the 636-pound pumpkin took 6th place.

The winning pumpkin grown by Brian Halbert set a new fair record at a whopping 1,314.5 pounds.

According to the Pacific NorthwestPumpkin Grower's Association, the next weigh-in is scheduled for Sept. 28 at the Skagit Valley Giant Pumpkin Festival.
