HARRAH, Wash. (AP) -- Authorities say a 26-year-old man was left in critical condition after being shot several times with a rifle Friday afternoon in Harrah, Wash.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports that Roberto Ocampo Ursino was rushed to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center after being repeatedly shot.
The Yakima Sheriff's office says it's unclear what happened. When deputies arrived, three of Ursino's relatives were at the scene. They told deputies that one of them had accidently shot Ursino.
Sgt. Mike Russell says deputies detained an 18-year-old man they believed was the shooter, but what exactly happened is still sketchy.
