SEATTLE -- Starbucks is selling a premium new coffee at a premium price.

'Costa Rica Finca Palmilera' will set you back $6 for a tall cup and $7 for a grande.

It's made from a rare, hard-to-grow strainf of coffee called 'Geisha.' A limited amount was picked at farm in Costa Rica, whose entire harvest was purchased by the Seattle-based firm, then roasted at corporate headquarters.

According to the Starbucks Melody blog, the varietal coffee is being sold at just 46 Clover Starbucks stores, all in the Pacific Northwest.
