PORTLAND -- A 19-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday night in Southeast Portland and police are offering a reward for information that leads them to his killer.
Police were called just before 11 p.m. to the report of shots fired at Southeast 57th Avenue and Harold Street.
Officers en route learned that a victim was lying in the yard of a nearby home, said Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson. The victim, Paul William Krekeler, was dead by the time police arrived.
He died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the medical examiner's office.
No motive was determined and no suspects were found, Simpson said.

This is the 16th homicide in Portland so far this year.
It was on of two shootings in Southeast Portland Tuesday night.
