MEDFORD, Ore. -- One person has been killed in a collision involving a wrong-way driver on Interstate 5 near Medford.

Oregon State Police say a driver was going north in the southbound lanes about 3 a.m. Thursday and collided five miles south of Medford with another vehicle.

Police say the wrong-way driver and taken to a hospital with injuries.

Traffic was diverted to Highway 99.
