BORING, Ore. The man suspected of killing a Clackamas County employee Thursday is also wanted for weapons charges and questioning about a child rape case in Washington, police said Monday.

Officials were offering a $7,500 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Dirck White, 41, of Edgewood, Wash. is suspected of shooting and killing Grady Wazenfelter, a county weighmaster, Thursday afternoon on Highway 224 near Southeast Amisigger Road.

Wazenfelter pulled over White, who was driving a commercial truck hauling wood, for not having a license plate on the trailer.

White was still on the loose Monday afternoon.

Officials said White was also wanted in Pierce County, Wash. on a weapons charge and for questioning about a sex crime regarding the rape of a child.

White s previous employer, O Malley Brothers Trucking in Estacada, was cooperating with the search effort. They offered $2,500 in reward money in hopes of catching White, said Sgt. Robert Wurpes of the Clackamas County Sheriff s Office.

On Monday, the U.S. Marshals joined the Clackamas County Sheriff s Office in the search for White. He was driving a 2004 Mercedes 320 with the Washington license plate ANB7070.

White is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
