VANCOUVER -- Three people were arrested Wednesday in a Clark County drug raid that led to the seizure of 12 different drugs, police said.

Police in February received a tip that drugs were being sold from a home at 8707 NE 89th Avenue and they began an investigation, according to Commander Mike Cooke of the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force.

Members of the task force arranged to buy drugs from the home and found drugs, packaging materials and drug trafficking records, Cooke said. Police also found similar materials in a vehicle connected with the investigation.

Two residents of the home, 27-year-old John R. McKee and 25-year-old Lauren A. Marshall, were jailed on drug possession and distribution charges. Christopher D. Nichols, 49, of Vancouver was in the home during the raid and was arrested on possession charges.

The list of drugs seized included:

  • Heroin
  • Methamphetamine
  • Hallucinogenic mushrooms
  • Morphine
  • Ecstasy
  • Fentanyl
  • Suboxone
  • Dilaudid
  • Oxycodone
  • Adderall
  • Methadone
  • Lidocaine

The list of drugs seized really speaks to the level of addiction and suffering that's impacting families all over Clark County, Cooke said. Drug addiction is not a joke; families and neighborhoods suffer when people traffic these substances.
