PORTLAND -- A landslide has been cleared from Sam Jackson Park Road, allowing traffic to OHSU hospital to resume.

The uphill lane of traffic was closed temporarily after the slide. Soon after crews arrived to clear that lane, the other lane was also closed, according to Jim Newman at OHSU.

The closure was in place until about 3:45 p.m. Thursday.

A flood watch was in effect for the Portland area Thursday, through Friday afternoon, bringing the potential for more landslides and debris flows, according to the National Weather Service.
