PORTLAND -- Firefighters raced Tuesday morning to the second vacant home fire in Southeast Portland in as many days.

The Tuesday morning fire was reported about 6 a.m. at 8729 SE Malden St., said Lt. Rich Chatman of the Portland Fire & Rescue Bureau.
