VANCOUVER -- Three months after Christmas, a high-profile decoration taken from a Vancouver porch has been recovered.

A 6-foot tall nutcracker statue, stolen last December, was found Tuesday along with several other stolen items, according to Vancouver police.

Detectives learned a Vancouver storage unit and a residence might be full of stolen property and served search warrants Thursday.

The items were recovered and 49-year-old James Elioff was arrested for possession of stolen property.

Additional charges were pending.
